Antonia trained as a secondary school teacher and taught music and drama for the Qld. Education Dept for 10 years, leaving to develop her private teaching practice and pursue performance opportunities. She also tutored in the music department at QUT, as well as Lourdes Hill College, and All Hallows School in Brisbane.

Stage direction for songs from musical theatre and working with professionals is what she likes best. Antonia has also performed with eclectic vocal trio “Carintare” and Jazz trio “Three in a Low Key” as well as John Farnham, Marcia Hines, Jon English, Ingrid James, Alison St. Ledger, Kate Miller-Heidke and Carita Farrah, and her happiest performance was as soloist with Tommy Tycho and the Qld Symphony orchestra.

Antonia has worked as the vocal tutor for Queensland Theatre Company’s productions of “We Were Dancing”, “Venetian Twins”, ”Puss in Boots” and “The Caucasian Chalk Circle”. She was the voice tutor for the full-time Performing Arts Course at the Davidia Lind Dance Studio for five years, and also served on the committee for the Australian National Association of Teachers of Singing from 2004 to 2010.

Jazz and cabaret are her favourite styles of music and she loves teaching.
